Better economy, more fun, better control, cuts down on vehicle borrowers. Hard to find a new vehicle on the lot with a manual, though.

But driving a stickshift in Houston can frazzel the best of nerves and build up the leg muscles that look better than the Hulk. I prefer an automatic when driving with the crazies on the freeway here.

And it is $1000 cheaper than an automatic. The concept of spending $1000 to waste fuel is too hard for me to consider.
