Hi gvan! Yes the D3 is dominating in trucks and those sales are increasing. GM is FINALLY launching new Silverado's and Sierra's this summer, and that should help even more. However, the Chevy Sonic has led the segment the last two months, and the Chevy Cruze is selling far better than the Cobalt ever did, as is the Ford Focus, and Fiesta. While the J3 seem unable to gain any share in the big truck and big suv segments, the D3 are actually chipping away pretty well in the small to medium sized car market, and that is encouraging. In May, the D3 continued its slow steady market share increase against the J3. D3 share in May is 59.02% to the 40.98% of the J3. In May 2012, the D3 share was 58.78%, and back in 2009 it was 57.58%. In Calendar Year to Date comparisons, through May of 2013 the D3 market share is 59.21%, In 2012 it was 58.24%, and back in 2009 it was 57.05%
