I liked your reply to Jeski. Your are 100% right. Oh. congestion is usally caused by unsafe following distaces according to studies out of CA. Keeping a 3 to 4 second distance behind or at least one car length per 10 miles per hour is close enough. As one sees the brake light on the car in front of him, if he is to close he needs to brake , so on and so on. If one keeps a safe distance than rather then braking you coast. No brake lights so on and so. But for this to work, everyone needs to practice safe following distances, "no tailgating". I really don't see this happening with todays aggrestive driving habits.
