Occasionally, we get a 'travelling' Cirque at one of the local casinos here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but in this current downturn in the economy, they don't draw like they once did

I thought "O" was awesome!
However, I was disappointed with "Ka"
Must just be personal preference.

I've seen almost all of the Cirque shows, and although each has its own merits, Love has to be my current favorite. its a Cirque show ala the Beatle's music and its truly inspired. Anyone who's within range of the Mirage and can get ticket should do so. its got all the amazement and wonder of Cirque with a soundtrack like no other.
Ka is excellent as well and although I loved Zumanity, don't take the kids ;)
My least favorite would have to be O. Although the concept is unique and their water work is grand, its just not as viewable and engaging as the others.
Given the opportunity, catch a Cirque show if you can if you like them try the rest. With any luck they will be able to keep it new, but without some other hooks, they may start to become overly formulaic...

I enjoy all of them, but I have to rent the DVD's because their tickets are far too EXPENSIVE.

I've not seen any of the shows live..... just on TV & I love all that I've seen. I want to go to LV to see The Beatles-inspired show. Does anyone know if it has opened yet? How much are the tix?
I'm not a circus-goer, in fact, I don't like the circus at all. But when I saw Cirque on TV, I was mesmerized. They're scheduled to perform a short 3-day stint here in Louisville, but it seems to be mostly w/ projections, not the real thing.

The very first show I saw was Drallion in an outdoor tent setting and the prices were something like $50. At that point, the price seemed high but the show was fabulous and well worth it.
At Las Vegas, I liked Mystere the best. It really showed the performer's athletic ability. I also believe this is the lowest price of all the Cirque shows.
KA was great also, but it's the technology that makes this show so good (surround sound speakers in the seats, moving stages, etc).
I was disappointed in 'O' and it was the most expensive. I was thinking the underwater stuff would be like a see thru fish tank, but instead, you'd just see people dip into water and disappear.
I did not see Zumanity or Le Reve yet. I heard Zumanity has a sexier twist than the others. The previews of Le Reve look good. I think I will see that next.
I've tried to watch these shows on TV, but it just doesn't have the same excitment level as in the theater.

I have seen almost all of them on tv. However the only live show that I have seen was Delirium on March 15 in Memphis. We had front row seats and it was something I will never forget. It was well worth the money.
As far as a favorite, I can honestly say that I like all of them equally well.
