New Andriod tablets are running on quad cores now. It is going to compete heavily with the iPad and the laptop.

It will have better external connections than the iPad such as USB and hard drives. It will be lighter and have better battery live than laptops.

Steve Jobs viewed Andriod as the biggest threat to Apple.

Can we have a fourth computer forum on Andriod?

Sorry but I agree. The iPad had so much time to develop the Androids I've seen are second-rate.
Still functional, but NOT an iPad, iPhone or Touch.

Having a forum for Android tablets is akin to having a forum for Edsel cars.

You may find people who own them but they are by and large a flop.

I am saying this as somebody who has an iPad third generation and a Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab collects dust while the iPad gets used. Apple did a far superior job of human factors engineering.

Hello Gas Eyes. Your topic most likely won't be viewed by the moderators. It would be better to post it on the Forum "Website Improvement" or "Help" "Website Feedback".

That said, we currently have open Topics on the Computer Windows Forum such as Photography, Electrical Discussion, etc. of which some Gas Buddies have requested for a new Forum.

You might put in the request via the above mentioned avenues and leave this one open as others have done until such time a new Forum is created.
