And since, I believe, the scooter normally gets much better gas mileage before being modified, why would use that vehicle to get 10 miles to the gallon? Wouldn't you be better off simply using a slower scooter with better mileage per gallon? Or is the purpose of modifying the scooter simply to set a record, and to get into the Book of Records?
